Your Go-To Glossary for all things Mogli

ASYNC TASKS CUSTOM OBJECT | Stores records for bulk sends to be delivered in batches. |

CONVERSATION VIEW LIGHTNING COMPONENT available on all Mogli-Configured Objects | A visually interactive display of your last 300 incoming and outgoing messages to and from your recipient (including 1:1 conversations, bulk messages, scheduled messages, and automated conversations) |
DEFAULT GATEWAY CUSTOM FIELD | The outbound phone number your recipient most often receives their text messages from. (Optional to populate) |
FORM CUSTOM OBJECT | The record storing the questions and responses to a survey or automated conversation (Form Template) you’ve created. |
FORM TEMPLATE CUSTOM OBJECT | Allows you to create linear or branching automated surveys and conversations. When someone completes a survey, a Form record is created storing information with all questions and responses. |
GATEWAY CUSTOM OBJECT | An outbound phone number - the numbers you’ll use to send messages to your recipients. Mogli configures your Gateways with our messaging partner. |
INTELLIGENT AREA CODE MATCHING STANDARD for some plans or ADD-ON FEATURE | Mogli chooses the best phone number from which to send the message according to the recipient’s country code, area code, or previous phone numbers. Sticky sending using the same number in subsequent sends. |
MERGE FIELD SALESFORCE VARIABLE | A variable you can pull into 1:1 conversations, bulk messages, or SMS Templates that populates a value from any Standard or Custom field. |
MESSAGE SEGMENT CUSTOM FIELD | A custom field on the SMS object that counts the number of message segments a single outbound SMS message consumed. |

MOGLI INBOX TAB | The one stop shop to view and respond to all of your incoming messages in one place. |
MOGLI OPT-OUT CUSTOM FIELD | The checkbox field on a record which identifies whether the recipient has provided opt-in consent. When checked, Conversation View is disabled for the record, and users will no longer be able to send the recipient a message. |
MOGLI MESSAGING API FEATURE | An API endpoint hosted on a cloud server which acts as an intermediate layer for processing outgoing bulk messages. It enables faster message throughput, less batch apex jobs in Salesforce, and more reliable bulk sends. Recommended if you are sending via short codes or toll-free numbers, send large volumes of bulk messages, or just like the idea of increased speed and reliability. |
MOGLI NUMBER CUSTOM FIELD | The reformatted Mobile number which is auto-populated by a workflow or flow from the value in the Mobile field. It is a unique identifier for each Salesforce record. The automation removes spaces, parentheses, and dashes from the Mobile field, reformatting it like this: +12223334444. |

QUERY STRING CUSTOM FIELD on the FORM TEMPLATE record | The unique inbound keyword which initiates an automated conversation or survey. Ex. - Text REVIEW to 555-666-7777 to rate Mogli Theater’s performance of ‘SMS Side Story.’ ‘REVIEW’ is the query string. |

When the Mogli team configures, your batch is automatically set to run at 5-minute intervals. |
SMS TEMPLATE CUSTOM OBJECT | Pre-created, canned messages, readily available from a drop-down menu in Conversation View or Bulk SMS/Bulk SMS Lightning. They can initiate an outbound survey or automated conversation (Form Template). Alternatively, they can simply be sent by themselves to quickly share a single message. For every Form Template, an SMS Template must be created with the exact text from the First Question. |
SMS TEMPLATE FOLDER CUSTOM OBJECT | Organize your SMS Templates into folders that are accessible within the Conversation View and the Bulk SMS Lightning tab. Standard Salesforce visibility rules can be applied. |
SUBSCRIPTION CENTER FEATURE OF LIGHTNING CONVERSATION VIEW | Opt in/out functionality at the Gateway Level. Able to be set by inbound keywords, data loads, or manual user update. |
